Raise Your Helping Hand!
Make a difference about something other than yourselves.” – Toni Morrison
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to educational development, social disadvantage, community awareness, and opportunity for disadvantaged children and young adults in impoverished and developing countries.
We are changing the lives of students all over the world, one community at a time, through Awareness, Advocacy, and Community Action.
Who We Are
Over the years, Ourshores has expanded to include volunteer work in mentoring, stay-at-home events, student resilience, financial literacy, community awareness, juvenile delinquency, and public safety, as well as collaboration with the "Blue Scholarship Fund," which assists underserved communities in supporting educational opportunities around the world.
Our mission is to focus on areas that are frequently overlooked in developing and underdeveloped countries. Our members have deep roots in the community they serve, as well as heritage and other cultural and personal ties.
|
Oureshores believes that treating children holistically is the best way to help them. The primary goal is to build on one another in order to create the type of relationship we desire for ourselves.
|
We believe in a world where every child can read. Our mission is to invest in early childhood education in order to empower the next generation.
We are not affiliated with any political party and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, culture, faith, or religious beliefs.
We believe in smart fund allocation, and therefore we employ minimal staff.
|
We do that, by creating educational programs and providing necessary resources in underprivileged areas. |

The impact of having mentors, access to education, and how critical it is to their socio-economic upward mobility; especially is priceless!
We are looking forward to a peaceful world by helping each other to join hands together to bring a better future for all children.
Who We Are
Our Impact
One person at a time, one day at a time, and one project at a time.
Because of your generous donations, some of our tireless volunteers and sponsors were able to deliver pencils to underprivileged children in desperate need this summer. We expanded into a few underserved areas and provided this critical educational tool to local schools.

This design provides a positive break for today’s youth to pursue amazing opportunities, encouraging students to dream big and achieve their dreams.

Our awards have changed lives: they give students the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and realize their full potential.

Mindfulness
We work with local teachers, students, and education professionals to identify critical issues. Additionally, encourage resilience by addressing and reporting potential victims of violent crime, potential abuse; or who are at high risk of skipping school, and joining a gang without re-victimization.
This, we believe, will allow teachers to teach more effectively in the classroom
